Geekvape 6 in 1 Coil Pack is a must have for vapers. A collection of 20 weird and wonderful coils in Nichrome (Ni80) and Kanthal (KA1), 2 types in each alloy and two types combining wires from both alloys.
All the coils in the Geekvape 6 in 1 Coil Pack have an inner diameter of 3mm and all the quoted resistances are for a single coil.
As already mentioned, there are some weird and wonderful coils in the Geekvape 6 in 1 Coil Pack, but they are all worth explaining:
The Clapton Helix Coil is formed by taking 2 Spaced Clapton (28g KA1 + 38g Ni80) wires and 2 KA1 26g wires and twisting all 4 wires together
The Clapception Coil is formed by Space Claptonising a 28g KA1 wire with 38g KA1, this wire is then used to Claptonise a 24g KA1 core
The Tidal Coil is formed by twisting 2 30g KA1 wires, this wire is then twisted with a 0.2 x 0.8mm KA1 ribbon.
The Alpha Braid Coil is formed by taking a 26g Ni80 wire as a core and then braiding it with 16 pairs of 40g Ni80
Alien Coils are formed by laying 3 28g Ni80 wires side by side and Claptonising them with a de-cored 32g Ni80 wire. By de-cored we mean that the 32g wire has been sued to Claptonise a wire, then stripped off the wire and stretched (like a telephone cord), this is what gives the Alien its distinctive "wavy" appearance.
Fused Clapton is formed by taking a core of 2 26g KA1 wires and Claptonising it with 36g Ni80
In summary, the Geekvape 6 in 1 Coil Pack is a collection of coils you're unlikely to see elsewhere, weird and wonderful, but an absolutely fantastic collection that should be in every DIY enthusiast's tool-kit.
