Usually with a dual coil RDA the coils will be running in parallel effectively halving the resistance of both coils and requiring double the power to run.
With the Wotofo Profile PS RDA you have the choice of running it as a parallel RDA OR a series RDA. Running it as a series deck will effectively double the resistance of the coils.
A very easy way of visualising it is to imagine 2 identical wires. If you lay those 2 wires side by side and connect them to a power source then you are allowing twice as much current (Amps) to flow through than would flow through the single wire, because you have doubled the cross-section of the wire. Conversely, if you were to lay the 2 wires end to end then you will only be able to drive half as much current through the wire as you have effectively doubled its length.
The Maths:
Single coil: x ohm
Final resistance of dual coils in parallel: x/2 ohm
Final resistance of dual coils in series: x*2 ohm
So now you can have either parallel builds or series builds of dual mesh coils on only one deck, with just an easy switch of a pin!
