Clapton wire is produced by taking a large gauge wire and wrapping it with a smaller gauge wire, the resulting wire looks like a guitar string, hence the name Clapton.
Thunderhead Creations Clapton Coils are better vape coils than traditional round wire coils, for 2 reasons. The first is because or the structure it has great wicking properties, meaning it has the ability to pull more e-liquid from the cotton and the second is it's able to vaporise more e-liquid because of its larger surface area.
